DVB-H Transmissions at IBC 2006

The DVB Project Office will make a DVB-H multiplex available to all exhibitors at IBC this year. The transmissions will be available on UHF Channel 24 (centre frequency 498MHz) with an ESG compliant to the DVB-IPDC specifications. The content will not be encrypted.

The DVB-H platform will be operated by SIDSA who will shortly be in a position to release the full technical parameters of the transmissions. The content will consist of the live output of Nederland 2, CNN International, BBC World and Discovery Channel.

A full headend description and terminal requirements for the demonstration is now available. Note that whilst most of these parameters have now been set, there may be some changes in the coming weeks.
