TMP - Télévision Mobile Personnelle (France)

The CSA (French audiovisual regulatory agency) has previously indicated that it expects mobile TV services to be launched before the end of 2008, with the first transmissions on air in time for the Olympic Games in August.

After a widespread consultation the decision was made to base the roll-out on the DVB-H standard, whilst also using DVB-SH to provide coverage of the full country. This would suggest that receivers will be required to support both DVB-H and DVB-SH.
