AIMS & OBJECTIVES
Technical Validations of the DVB-H specification
The platform has hosted national and international projects like
SEMAFOR (SFN and co channel interferences identification) and
PLUTO (to test the antenna diversity at the emission) in 2007.
TECHNICAL INFORMATION
TRANSMITTERS
Three transmitters operating in SFN.
Each transmitter has a tunable ERP of 1000W max. on each site. The
area covered is the city of Metz and its outskirts. The platform
is dedicated to testing so that each transmitter can be powered
on or off on demand.
All parameters can be adjusted depending
on the tests to be performed. Today the typical configuration is
QPSK 2/3 MPEFEC 7/8. (The same configuration and content was used
in Paris experiments in 2005 and 2006).
