AIMS & OBJECTIVES
 

Verification of theorical models & evaluation of coverage.
Network dimensioning in urban environment and comparation to other cities
Deep indoor coverage study
Test of Gap-filler usage in urban environment
Evaluation of DVB-H equipment and terminals
Interoperability test

 
BUSINESS MODEL(S) INVESTIGATED
 
We are currently investigating 3 different Business Models:
- The infrastructure operator is the owner of the DVB-H license, having a neutral position among the channels and the mobile operators
- The owners of the license are the TV channels
- And finally, the owners of the DVB-H license are the mobile operators, where various operators have to share a DVB-H multiplex.
 
USERS
 
The pilot has a technical approach (interoperability, various mobile operators sharing a multiplex…). So it is not intended for final users.
