AIMS & OBJECTIVES
Technical assessment of network constraints
and coverage, serving as input for the financial plan of a DVB-H
roll-out.
BUSINESS MODEL(S) INVESTIGATED
RTBF would operate a DVB-H network,
aggregate content (own and from other broadcasters) and provide
the service to mobile operators who would act as commercial distributors.
USERS
50, employees of RTBF living in Brussels.
SERVICE CONTENT
2 channels with La Une et La Deux,
the two main channels of the RTBF.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION
TRANSMITTERS
2 transmitters are installed on high
towers in Brussels. There is also a gap filler on the RTBF tower.
BROADCAST BAND AND
FREQUENCY
UHF - Channel 36 is being used (594Mhz).
Both SFN and MFN are tested.
